Algorithm Council

Companies that are faster and smarter at developing and managing proprietary algorithms are going to be more competitive and positioned to win. Fueled by emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and the Internet of Things (IoT), supply chain leaders across the world are racing to harness this data and build algorithms that can increase their company’s market share, grow revenue, reduce risk and fine-tune operations.

A cross-functional team — comprising finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, sales and supply chain executives – is recommended to manage algorithms that can effectively advance business objectives, a consensus view of DSCI’s members. We call this team the “Algorithm Council.”
