About Us
The Digital Supply Chain Institute (DSCI) is a research institute focused on the evolution of enterprise supply chains in the digital economy and the creation and practical application of supply chain management best practices.

DSCI’s “Constellation of Value” Supply Chain Management Framework
Modern supply chains have transitioned from a linear model, i.e., simple manufacturing to end-user structure, to a multidimensional model comprising numerous supply chain nodes, including customers, shipping & logistics, suppliers, business intelligence providers, and other vendors. DSCI has established the “Constellation of Value” supply chain management framework to empower businesses to optimize this transition of enterprise supply chains.
Just as early naval navigators relied on a mapped group of stars to guide their journeys, DSCI collaborates with its members to map the right supply chain nodes for their business, referred to as a constellation, that can inform, guide and create value for their supply chain operations.

History of the Digital Supply Chain Institute
DSCI began as an initiative at CGE to research and write a white paper about best practices for global enterprises seeking to understand how to build and transition to a Digital Supply Chain. DSCI convened 23 global companies to serve as members of the GEG to discuss the most pressing issues surrounding the Digital Supply Chain. Their contributions resulted in DSCI’s first white paper, Digital Supply Chains: A Frontside Flip. The paper received international media attention which motivated the formation of the Institute.
