Vivek Ghelani is a global leader in supply chain transformation and digital strategy. As Director of Research at the Digital Supply Chain Institute (DSCI), an applied research institute of the Center for Global Enterprise in New York, he drives research and executive engagement that help organizations transform traditional supply chains into intelligent, connected, and customer-centric networks of value.

Vivek’s work focuses on advancing the next generation of supply chain models—integrating AI, data analytics, and digital trust frameworks to enhance visibility, resilience, and collaboration across ecosystems. He leads initiatives that translate emerging trends into actionable strategies for senior executives, guiding them in building adaptive, high-performing supply chains that deliver measurable business impact.

In addition to his role at DSCI, Vivek serves as a Senior Research Analyst at Mercator XXI, LLC, advising leaders on the intersection of technology, global trade, and supply chain innovation.

He holds an M.Sc. in Business Analytics from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT).
