Women In Supply Chains
DSCI has distinguished Talent planning as a key success criterion for implementing successful supply chain transformations. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, organizations worldwide are orchestrating rapid changes to enable supply chain resiliency through digitization. We strongly trust that this is an opportune moment to bring forth more women leaders in supply chain transformations and unlock the strategic advantages that are a hallmark of diverse and inclusive teams. The TrailblazeHERS initiative looks into ways to increase female leadership and with a series of programs, we would like to build a value community, inspiring women to advance careers in supply chains.
Mentorship Program
The TrailblazeHers mentorship program pairs women in early-stage careers in the supply chain with senior professionals in the field. To date, the program has trained 43 professionals through two completed cohorts.
The 3-month program combined high-touch mentorship with training on contemporary supply chain trends, helping more women excel as supply chain leaders
Program Fellows receive professional growth opportunities through 1:1 mentoring sessions, applied learning sessions led by supply chain experts, conversations with women business leaders, and monthly peer group activities to enhance social support, networking, and problem-solving.
